Alpine Gold Tallow Lip Balm is a deeply nourishing lip treatment made with certified organic, grass-fed beef tallow, organic cold-pressed olive oil, and pure beeswax. Designed to protect and restore dry or chapped lips, this tallow-based lip balm delivers long-lasting hydration while supporting the lips’ natural barrier.
Naturally rich in essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins, tallow closely mimics the skin’s own oils, helping lips stay soft, smooth, and comfortable without petroleum, synthetic fragrance, or fillers. Each balm is handcrafted in small batches in Whitefish, Montana, and packaged in plastic-free, recyclable cardboard tubes for simple, sustainable lip care.

Burt’s Bees has been my go-to lip balm for years, so I never expected to find something I liked better. Then, while visiting my son in Whitefish, Montana, I stopped into a charming little shop called Haskill Creek and happened to discover Alpine Gold Beef Tallow Lip Balm.
From the first use, I was impressed. This lip balm leaves my lips incredibly soft and hydrated without that constant need to reapply. A little goes a long way, and my lips stay moisturized much longer than they do with other balms. Best of all, it doesn’t leave behind any strange taste, waxy feeling, or heavy coating.
I use the Sunny flavor, and the light citrus scent is perfect. It’s fresh and uplifting without being overpowering.
I’m so glad I can order it online now that I’m back home in Florida. My only concern is hoping it survives the summer heat during shipping! Other than that, this has officially replaced Burt’s Bees in my daily routine.
Funny enough, a vacation souvenir turned out to be my new favorite lip balm. Highly recommend
